In this concert, pianist Andrew Pham will be joined by his friends in an all Schumann program. Mr. Pham is a highly sought after collaborative pianist in Oregon, having experiences accompanying opera, musical theater, choir, dance, art song, and chamber ensembles. His performance credits include appearances with Cascadia Concert Opera, the Astoria Music Festival, the University of Oregon Opera Ensemble, Bay View Music Festival, Luray Opera Theater, Indiana University Opera Theater, and Reimaging Opera for Kids. He has played musical theater for the UO Theatre department, the Shedd Theatricals, and musical productions at Interlochen Arts Camp. Internationally, he has appeared on stage in Costa Rica with Opera Nova and at various venues in Germany. Other festival appearances include Staunton Music Festival, MasterWorks Festival, and Brevard Music Festival. In the midst of his busy performance schedule, he maintains his position as an instructional faculty member at the John G. Shedd Institute for the Arts in Eugene, OR. Mr. Pham received degrees from University of Oregon (M.M. Collaborative Piano), Indiana University (M.M. Piano Performance), and James Madison University (B.M. Piano Performance and Composition).
