Cascadia Concert Opera returns to Junction City to feature its talented singers from the local community. In addition, the North Coast Chorale, under the direction of its music director, Dr. Denise Reed, will share the stage to showcase the choir. Together, artists of CCO and NCC will perform a variety of operatic works that brings forth the two forces of solo and ensemble singing from a variety of familiar, and some not so familiar operatic selections.

This special concert is free with a suggested donation of $10. It will mark CCO's first in a series of concerts throughout Oregon in which it hopes to raise funds for its upcoming 2017 premiere of the tango opera, "Tango of the White Gardenia" by composer, Ethan Gans-Morse, and librettist, Tiziana DellaRovere. The work is commissioned by the CCO as part of its continued effort in promoting local talents.

Because this concert will include the North Coast Chorale from Astoria, the start time will be later than usual. The concert will start at 4:30 pm. at Saint Helen Catholic Church on Sunday, November 20.
